BAH!!!! It was bound to happen!! What counsellor doesn't want to talk about gratefulness???? Because it is true! The more we find to be grateful for, the more grateful we become.

What am I grateful for?

- family, new and old...

- grown independent children

- old-growth trees in my yard

- freedom to do what I want

- a partner who tolerates me well!!

- my dryer for warming up my sweater in the morning

- my health

- friends who have been in my life since I was a kid

- new friends too :)

- my ability to find humor in almost any situation

- my ability to see the good in people

- my pets and their steady companionship and unconditional love

- my education. I'm a grade 10 drop out with a Masters Degree!

- my partner's ability to show and express emotion freely

- the time I have been able to spend with loved ones

- the memories that flood back when I go through a photo album or a box of old treasures

- books

- the neighbors we ended up with after moving 1100 km away

- 2 fire pits. I can have a big fire or a wee fire depending on my mood.

- silliness that leads to uncontrollable giggles when I'm overtired

- art and the art gallery across the highway with affordable artwork for my walls

- indoor plumbing!! It gets cold in Canada! haha
